Javea Massage Therapies is owned by Matthew Armstrong, a Deep Tissue, Integrative, and Holistic Massage Therapist.
The business is a team of two, Matthew the principal Massage therapist and his counterpart Zoe who has been working with Matthew at Javea Massage Therapies for 3 years.
They have our own studio in the Balcon Al Mar area of Javea and cover not only Javea but also Denia, Moraira, and inland Costa Blanca.
Zoe is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Catalan, while Matthew does well in English and can communicate in Spanish

"Yes, our studio is located in Javea but we are also mobile and will travel. For bigger groups we can travel further. Just make an enquiry and we will see if we can accommodate."

"We specialise in Deep Tissue Massage and we can also adapt to your needs as well if you don´t want too much pressure or you have specific injury you want worked on."
"Is Deep Tissue Massage painful?"
"It can be if you are very tense or simply have a low pain threshold, but Our Integrative Deep Tissue Massage differs from others. Most people say that it is intense but not painful. This is because we move slowly, gently and precisely. We apply a fair amount of pressure at times to break up stubborn adhesions, but mostly you will find our massage relaxing and enjoyable. You may even fall asleep!"
"How is it best to contact you and book a massage?"
"It is best to Whatsapp us as we are often in session and don´t have a receptionist. If you don´t have Whatsapp then send a text message or call and leave a voicemail if there is no answer. We will get back to you within a couple of hours."

"That is a good question. A general Deep Tissue Massage is some of all three of those put together, but at Javea Massage therapies we have advanced this further, incorporating Rolfing, Korean Accupressure, Japanese Amatsu and osteopathic like techniques to bring you the most complete massage experience."

A mobile massage service is also available at your home, hotel, or yacht - covering all areas from Denia to Altea.
For the mobile service their minimum is a 90 minute massage or more than one person.
You can also book two massage therapist to come at the same time for couples massage or for groups and they can do one hour sessions.
